When a refuse vehicle body comes into the workshop, it’s rarely a light tidy-up job. These units work hard, day in, day out. Exposure to waste, moisture, road salt and constant loading takes its toll. This latest project was a full rebuild , starting with a complete body strip-down and blast back to bare metal. Back to Bare Metal The first stage was shotblasting the entire body to remove corrosion, surface contamination and years of wear. This is where the real work happens.
